CGB Spring League is a 6 week program, for girls aged 5-13, no experience necessary.
**No program on the May long weekend (May 21)
Location: Forest Hill Public School Junior & Cedarvale Park
Cost: $185 Modality: Outdoors
Dates: May 7' 23-Jun 18'23 Ages: 5 - 13 years old, no experience necessary
Time: 10-11am
I love seeing programs like this that create space for young girls to try something new without pressure. When I was balancing sports and school, I remember stressing over an online Nursing exam, and having a weekly activity to look forward to really helped me stay grounded. A six week league in a local school and park setting sounds welcoming and accessible. Opportunities like this build confidence both on and off the field.
I enjoyed reading about the Toronto Spring League and how it brought together girls from different places to compete and grow in baseball, because that kind of community sport seems really inspiring. When I was juggling school and practice schedules, I even used Get an A in MyMathLab to keep up with tough math lessons during busy weeks. It reminds me that balancing goals with fun can make both feel easier and more rewarding.
