WEATHER POLICY:
Our outdoor sessions take place rain or shine - we play in all weather except lightning or high winds that can be considered dangerous. Please dress your child appropriately for the day's weather. Unfortunately in the event that a session is cancelled we are unable to provide a make-up session.
DIVISION BIRTH YEAR SKILLS
Blast Ball 2015, 2014 Teams are small, games are shorter and the emphasis is on fun while learning the basic baseball skills of throwing, catching, fielding, hitting and team play.
FUN-damentals 2013, 2012 Players have been introduced to the basic skills of baseball and can now try to hit a ball without the use of a tee. (There will always be a tee available if needed). Drills and coaching continue to focus on improving the fundamentals of the sport.
Rookie Ball 2011, 2010 Players will be introduced to a controlled velocity pitching machine. Emphasis is placed on skills development (throwing, fielding, catching and hitting) as well as position play, baseball strategy, team play and FUN.
Mosquito 2009, 2008, 2007 This is the first level where players work on learning live pitching . Emphasis is placed on skills development, strategy, position playing, sportsmanship and FUN.
Pee Wee 2006,2007 This is the League’s next to highest senior level where baseball is played. Emphasis is still placed on skills development, however position play and strategy become incrementally more important. FUN and team spirit are paramount.
Bantam 2003, 2004, 2005 This is the League’s highest level where baseball is played. Emphasis is still placed on skills. development, however position play and strategy become incrementally more important. FUN and team spirit are still emphasized.
